Quagga mussel (Dreissena rostriformis bugensis) shell and tissue measurements collected in the Laurentian Great Lakes since 2015

Invasive dreissenid mussels (quagga mussels, Dreissena rostriformis bugensis and zebra mussels, D. polymorpha) were introduced to the Laurentian Great Lakes in the 1980’s and have since spread throughout the Great Lakes basin and across North America. This collection contains shell length, shell weight, and tissue weights from quagga mussels collected from multiple stations in the Great Lakes in conjunction with the Cooperative Science and Monitoring Initiative (CSMI) cycle and the NOAA Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory (GLERL) Long-Term Research program. Stations were selected to represent a range of depth zones and the major geographic regions of each lake.

入侵性饰贝属贻贝，包括斑驴贻贝（quagga mussel，*Dreissena rostriformis bugensis*）与斑马贻贝（zebra mussel，*D. polymorpha*），于20世纪80年代被引入劳伦琴五大湖（Laurentian Great Lakes），此后其分布范围扩展至整个五大湖盆地并覆盖北美全境。本数据集收录了在合作科学与监测倡议（Cooperative Science and Monitoring Initiative，CSMI）周期及美国国家海洋和大气管理局（National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration，NOAA）五大湖环境研究实验室（Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory，GLERL）长期研究项目的协同支持下，从五大湖多个采样站点采集的斑驴贻贝的壳长、壳重与组织重量数据。本次选取的采样站点覆盖了各湖泊的多种深度带及主要地理区域。
