Functions analysis of Fng1 in Fusarium graminearum

Fng1 is a subunit of NuA4 HAT complex. Deletion of FNG1 resulted in severe growth defects in F. graminearum. The fng1 mutant produced spontaneous suppressors with the majority of suppressor mutations in three subunits of the Rpd3 HDAC complex. Suppressor mutations in FgRPD3, FgSIN3, and FgSDS3 increased the growth rate of the fng1 mutant. To confirm the relationship of Fng1 and Rpd3 complex, we analysis the transcriptome data.
