## **Abstract** \n\nThe figure was constructed by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from (Goldie Divko et al., 2009) and drawing on information from (Pratt, 1985) and (Brumley and Holdgate, 1983). The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement. \n\n\n\nThe figure provides an overview of the onshore stratigraphy of the Gippsland Basin bioregion including Tarwin and Moe Swamp sub-basins. Prior to the creation of this figure, there was not a stratigraphic diagram that represented these areas all togeteher.\n\n## **Purpose** \n\nThe figure provides an overview of the onshore stratigraphy of the Gippsland Basin bioregion.\n\n## **Dataset History** \n\nThe diagram was created by Veronika Galinec at Geoscience Australia. Prior to this diagram, there was no diagram available in the literature to describe the stratigraphy of all these elements together.
