The wind turbulence and surface waves were observed from a fixed platform located in the Marine Meteorological Science Experiment Base at Bohe of China Meteorological Administration in the South China Sea (21º26.5' N, 111º23.5' E). The measurements were performed from 08 May 2024 to 21 May 2024 and from 16 September to 10 October 2024. Two CPEC 310s mounted at 5.5 m and 9.0 m above the mean sea surface were used to observe wind turbulence at a frequency of 10 Hz during the first period. One CPEC 310 during the second period was used. The height was 10.0 m. The waves were observed by ADCP (Nortek Signature 1000) with a frequency of 4 Hz. The second period encountered two typhoons, e.g., tropical storm Soulik and a nameless storm.

The first period:
The wind speed at 10 m under neutral conditions derived from the lower and upper CPEC 310s (U10 N lower and U10 N upper)
The drag coefficients at 10 m under neutral conditions derived from the lower and upper CPEC 310s (CdN lower and CdN upper)
The heights of the lower and upper CPEC 310s (Height lower and Height upper). The height is changed as the water is changed by the tides.
The wave age and Charnock coefficients (Charnock lower and Charnock upper) derived from the lower and upper CPEC 310s.
The atmospheric stability (z/L upper and z/L down) derived from the lower and upper CPEC 310s.
The ratio of the horizontal integral length scales to their values under neutral conditions (f upper and f lower) derived from the lower and upper CPEC 310s.
The ratio of the vertical integral length scales to their values under neutral conditions (g upper and g lower) derived from the lower and upper CPEC 310s.
The turbulent friction velocity (u_star_t) observed by the lower CPEC 310s and the friction velocity (u_star);
The wave coherent stress (tao_wave) observed by the lower CPEC 310s
The roughness length (z0 lower and z0 upper) derived from the lower and upper CPEC 310s.
The second period:
The wind speed at 10 m under neutral conditions (U10 N)
The drag coefficients at 10 m under neutral conditions (CdN)
The wave age and Charnock coefficients (Charnock)
The atmospheric stability (z/L)
