Datasets on Relocated Universities of Ukraine (2014–2025): Spatial-Temporal Maps and Registry

This dataset was created within the project “Institutional capacity building of relocated universities: monitoring study and recommendations for improvement on the national scale” (2024–2025). It provides original visualizations and a verified registry of Ukrainian higher education institutions (HEIs) that were forced to relocate due to the Russian occupation of Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions (2014–2016), and the full-scale invasion of 2022 (second wave, 2022–2025). The dataset documents spatial-temporal trajectories of displacement, host city patterns, repeated relocations, and institutional mergers.
