Birth of the first child by mother’s age, country of birth and origin

This table provides information on the age at which mothers have their first child. The number of live births is presented according to the age of the mother (per five-year age groups). It also looks at the mother’s country of birth and origin. To reflect how young people in the Netherlands are doing, more than 70 topics are described in the National Youth Monitor. The topics are called indicators. Data available from: 2021. Status of the figures The figures are final. Changes as of 19 January 2024: None, this is a new table. This table is a successor to the table: Birth of the first child by mother’s age and country of birth. The old migration classification has been replaced in this table by the new classification of country of birth and origin (see paragraph 3). When will there be new figures?
