Micro-eukaryotic biogeography in the Three Gorges Reservoir

The Three Gorge Dam has significantly altered hydrographic and environmental conditions within the reservoir region, but how these changes affect micro-eukaryotic community structure and functions remains unclear.Here, we applied 18S rRNA gene sequencing and multivariate statistical analyses to untangle the community assembly mechanisms, as well as null model- and neutral model-based approaches to quantified the relative contribution of deterministic and stochastic processes.
