Microbiome of lignites from Konin Area in Lower Silesia, Poland

Project focused on characterisation of microbial communities in lignite deposits in Konin, Poland. Furthermore, characterization of lignite biotransformation by microorganisms using enrichment culture was investigated. The project aim to provide information on the lignite's microbial communities and their role in elements circulation in the environment.
