This database contains learning data of high school novice programmers under different generative AI usage modes. Including basic information of students (anonymous), such as gender, age, class, and previous programming experience; Quantitative data includes AI dependency scale, computational thinking scale, programming test scores, and learning motivation scale, collected at three time points: before intervention (T0), during intervention (T1), and after intervention (T2). In the experiment, students were divided into three groups, corresponding to three usage modes: AI Free, AI Supported, and AI Discriminant. The database also contains qualitative data, including focus group interviews with students and semi-structured interviews with teachers, documenting their experiences and feelings towards different AI usage patterns.
