ECL5-CATANA-DATASET-1-2025

The dataset contains experimental data from the first experiments with the UHBR fan open test case ECL5, that was investigated in the European Project CATANA. Within this project, the open-test-case fan stage ECL5 was designed with the objective of high efficiency and operability to achieve a geometry representative for near future civil aircraft propulsion designs. The dataset comprises aerodynamic and aeroelastic measurements to validate numerical simulations. Furthermore, structural modeshapes derived from FEM simulations are provided.
