Analysis of 22 E.coli and 2 K.pneumoniae isolates with plasmid-borne mcr-1.1 gene.

From January 2013 to October 2018, a total 22 E.coli and 2 K.pneumoniae were found to be positive for mcr-1.1 and resistant to colistin with minimum inhibitory concentrations ranging from 4 to 16 mg L-1. The strains were isolated from clinical specimens (urine, blood, bronchoalveolar lavage, sputum, urine, etc.) of hospitalized patients with clinical symptoms of infections.
