资源简介:
Lynch syndrome (LS) is responsible for around 3-5% of allcolorectal cancer. Patients with LS have a high lifetime risk forcancer and an early onset of tumorigenesis. In this study we wanted toassess the role of the chemopreventive target Nrf2 in LS. Upondeletion of Nrf2 in a mouse model of LS (MSH2 loxP/loxPVil-cre) weobserved a strong reduction of the tumor incidence in the smallintestine. Nrf2 deficiency was also associated with an increase inbacterial diversity in this mouse model of LS. Sequencing was performed at the Joint Microbiome Facility of the Medical University of Vienna and the University of Vienna under the project IDs JMF-2011-3 and JMF-2107-04.
