Nrf2 deletion attenuates tumorigenesis in Lynch syndrome Raw sequence reads

Lynch syndrome (LS) is responsible for around 3-5% of allcolorectal cancer. Patients with LS have a high lifetime risk forcancer and an early onset of tumorigenesis. In this study we wanted toassess the role of the chemopreventive target Nrf2 in LS. Upondeletion of Nrf2 in a mouse model of LS (MSH2 loxP/loxPVil-cre) weobserved a strong reduction of the tumor incidence in the smallintestine. Nrf2 deficiency was also associated with an increase inbacterial diversity in this mouse model of LS.
