Pre hospital rehabilitation data for elderly knee replacement patients from December 2022 to December 2023

90 elderly patients who were admitted to the orthopedic department of Northern Jiangsu People's Hospital for knee replacement surgery from December 2022 to December 2023 were randomly divided into a control group (n=45) and an observation group (n=45) . The control group received routine perioperative nursing care after admission, while the experimental group received a prehabilitation intervention based on the ERAS concept. The maximum knee flexion angle (ROM), HSS knee joint score, lower limb muscle strength, daily activity ability (ADL), hospitalization days and hospitalization costs, postoperative complication rate, and patient satisfaction were compared between the two groups before intervention, 1 day before discharge, 2 week and 3 month after discharge. Results The ROM score, HSS score, lower limb muscle strength, daily activity ability, and satisfaction of the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group at 1 day before discharge, 2 weeks and 3 month after discharge (p<0.05). The hospitalization days ,hospitalization costs and incidence of postoperative complications in the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the control group (p<0.05).
