The Groucho/Tle coregulators are essential for early thymic progenitors and T-cell lineage specification [ATAC-seq]

The goal of this study is to determine the functional requirements for Groucho/Tle coregulators in early stages of T cell development. By ablating three mammalian homologues, Tle1, Tle3, and Tle4 genes, we found that Tle1/3/4 are essential for repressing non-T cell lineage potential in early thymic progenitors, and therefore pivotal for T-cell lineage specification. Overall design: Genome-wide mapping of chromatin accessibility profiles in WT and Tle134-deficient DN1 cells.
