Symmetric polynomials play a fundamental role in algebra and its applications due to their invariance under permutation of variables. This article investigates several theoretical and practical applications of symmetric polynomials and demonstrates how they simplify mathematical analysis. The study explains the relationship between polynomial roots and coefficients through elementary symmetric polynomials and highlights their usefulness in solving algebraic equations without explicit computation of roots.
