Forest functions in Saxony — healing spring protected areas according to the Saxon Water Act — with protection zones

The data set contains the sanctuary protection areas according to the Saxon Water Act (SächsWG) and their protection zones in the Free State of Saxony. Healing springs are naturally exposed or artificially developed water resources, which, due to their chemical composition, physical properties or experience, are suitable for healing purposes. The state-recognised healing springs are to be protected by the designation of sanctuary areas. The geographical name of the sanctuary sanctuary is listed for each area. The data is used for the forest function map 1:25,000 of Saxony.
