The datasets is compiled from 4 final plate product samples from different heats. SEM analysis was carried out at 20 kV accelerating voltage using the Automated Steel Cleanliness Analysis Tool (ASCAT), at the RJ Lee Group facility. Additional preprocessed data includes classification of particles and conversion of corresponding BSE images to numeric data. Image conversion is given as the number of pixels in the BSE image for each greyscale value.
