Brazil: most sold sparkling wines from Rio Grande do Sul 2017-2021

In 2021, sales of sparkling wine from the state of Rio Grande do Sul totaled around 35 million liters in Brazil. The most sold type were regular sparkling wines, known in Portuguese as 'espumantes', with a traded volume of 19 million liters. In turn, 12.2 million liters of Muscat sparkling wine coming from Rio Grande do Sul were sold in Brazil that year.
