ROSETTA MultiActor Platforms in 5 country use cases-type of participants

The ROSETTA Multi-Actor Platforms (MIPs) across the five country use cases bring together a wide spectrum of stakeholders to ensure inclusive and effective support of local implementation. Participants include farmers and producers, who contribute first-hand insights from primary production; processors and manufacturers, providing expertise in value chain operations; retailers, distributors, and wholesalers, who connect production with markets; and food service operators, who bridge the system to consumers. The platforms also engage policy makers and regulators, aligning actions with governance needs, and consumer and civil society groups, who bring community and social perspectives. Academic and research institutions add scientific knowledge, while business and innovation advisors, technology providers, and other knowledge providers support with applied expertise and innovative approaches. In addition, networks, clusters, NGOs, and organizations such as surplus food redistribution groups and national boards play a key role in connecting actors and promoting sustainable practices. This broad and balanced composition ensures that the MIPs foster dialogue, co-creation, and solutions tailored to the realities of each local context. ROSETTA is funded by the European Union.
