HEFEX III: Hintereisferner glacier forefield CO2 exchange data from Eddy Covariance and chamber measurements

This dataset contains CO2 flux measurements and automatic weather station (AWS) observations, taken in the forefield and valley below the Hintereisferner during the HEFEXIII field campaign in August 2025. Data was collected by two Eddy Covariance stations and two different movable flux-chamber-based measurement setups, operated by two independent teams. HEFEXIII_CO2_Eddy_Chambers.zip The folder 'HEFEXIII_CO2_Eddy_Chambers' contains raw and processed data from two full Eddy Covariance stations (including CO2 flux measurements) that were operating during HEFEX III in the glacier forefield of Hintereisferner from 06.08.2025-01.09.2025. Additionally, raw data and metadata from transparent CO2 chamber measurements conducted in the vicinity of the Eddy Covariance stations between 06.08 - 08.08.2025 is provided. CO2_chambers2.zip contain the raw and processed data of the CO2 flux chamber measurements by the second team in the periods 05.08 - 14.08.2025 and 27.08. - 31.08.2025. Measurement instrumentaion/principles and locations differed from the first Chamber measurements included in HEFEXIII_CO2_Eddy_Chambers.zip More details and metadata of all measurements can be found in the READme files in both .zip folders
