Manistee Forest Soil Nitrogen Mineralization Gradient Study

Study on the patterns and drivers of soil community composition in a natural gradient of soil inorganic nitrogen availability across 12 forest stands in the Manistee National Forest located in Michigan, USA. Stands are in northern hardwood forests with Quercus rubra (red oak) and Acer rubrum (red maple) dominant tree species on evenly aged sandy soils.
