Quantitative analysis of neuroligin-2 and gephyrin expression at inhibitory synapses in three-month-old adult-born neurons and mature neurons.

Expression of the adhesion molecule, NL-2, and the scaffolding protein, gephyrin, in three-month-old adult-born GFP+ cells and presumably mature GFP-negative cells. For GFP+ cells, cluster density (CD; clusters/µm) and cluster size (CS; µm2) are given for iML and oML, on dendritic shafts. For GFP− cells, cluster density (CD; clusters/µm3) is given for iML and oML in a 3D confocal stack of 0.2 µm-thick visual planes.
