## **Abstract** \n\nThe dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from multiple source datasets. The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.\n\n\n\nThis dataset contains spreadsheets summarising the location (co-ordinates), status (operating, historical, proposed etc) and type (open cut/underground), as well as other details of coal mines, in the Hunter subregion. Also contained is a geodatabase of point feature classes derived from the spreadsheet data. \n\n\n\nThe data was compiled by the BA Programme from the Ozmin database and Register of Australian Mining 2013 - 2014.\n\n## **Purpose** \n\nSummarises coal mine activity in the Hunter subregion and presents data in a form suitable for the production of report maps\n\n## **Dataset History** \n\nMine data was collated from source datasets by the Bioregional Assessment Programme and summarized in an excel spreadsheet. ## 摘要

本数据集由生物区域评估计划（Bioregional Assessment Programme）从多源数据集衍生而来。本元数据声明中的“谱系（Lineage）”字段已注明其源数据集；衍生本数据集所采用的处理流程，则记载于本元数据声明的“历史（History）”字段中。

本数据集包含亨特次区域（Hunter subregion）内煤矿的相关汇总表格，涵盖煤矿的位置（坐标）、状态（在产、历史、拟建等）、类型（露天/井下）及其他详细信息；同时还包含由该表格数据衍生得到的点要素类地理数据库（geodatabase）。

本项目组从Ozmin数据库与《2013-2014年澳大利亚采矿登记册》（Register of Australian Mining 2013-2014）中汇编得到本数据集。

本数据集旨在汇总亨特次区域内的煤矿活动情况，并以适用于编制报告用地图的形式呈现数据。

## 数据集历史

煤矿数据由生物区域评估计划从源数据集中整理，并汇总至Excel电子表格中。本数据集包含煤矿位置坐标，用于生成煤矿位置空间数据集，以支持煤矿位置的制图工作。
