Data from: Patterns of livestock depredation and cost-effectiveness of fortified livestock enclosures in northern Tanzania

Data_Patterns of livestock depredation and cost-effectiveness of fortified livestock encolosures in northern TanzaniaThis dateset describes reports from monthly visits to traditional and enforced livestock enclosures. Enclosure owners reported number of successfull and non- successfull raid attempts by large carnivores in the past month. Carnivore species that attempted to raid livestock enclosures were identified to species level adn counted by enclosure owners. The number of injured and killed livestock individuals (separated by species and age class) is reported as well. The last columns (AE-AW) describe the spatial variables for each livestock enclosure. GPS coordinates of livestock enclosures were removed.

本数据集聚焦坦桑尼亚北部地区的牲畜掠食（livestock depredation）模式与加固牲畜围栏的成本效益，收录了针对传统牲畜围栏与加固牲畜围栏开展月度走访所获取的报告数据。围栏所有者需报告过往一个月内大型食肉动物对围栏的成功突袭与未遂突袭次数，并对尝试突袭的食肉动物进行物种鉴定与计数。同时需按牲畜物种与年龄组别分类统计受伤与死亡牲畜的个体数量。数据集最后几列（AE至AW）记录了每个牲畜围栏的空间变量信息，已移除围栏的GPS坐标。
