British Geological Survey (BGS) Multibeam and Sampling Survey 2011/2: Firth of Lorn north (15/Feb/2011 to 05/Mar/2011)

This British Geological Survey (BGS) marine multibeam and sampling survey took place over two separate periods (15-18 February and 24 February - 5 March 2011) in an area at the northern tip of the Firth of Lorne, Oban Bay on board the Northern Lighthouse Board vessel NLV Pole Star. Sea floor data were collected using an EM3002D multibeam system. Sea bed sample data were collected using a shipek grab. These data are archived by BGS. Technical details of the survey are contained in the BGS Report of Survey.本数据集为英国地质调查局（British Geological Survey, BGS）开展的海洋多波束探测与采样调查项目，于2011年分两个独立航次实施：2011年2月15日至18日，以及2011年2月24日至3月5日，作业区域位于奥班湾（Oban Bay）内的洛恩湾（Firth of Lorne）北端海域，搭载平台为北灯塔委员会（Northern Lighthouse Board）所属船舶“NLV Pole Star”号。海底地形数据采用EM3002D多波束系统采集，海底样品数据通过希佩克采泥器（shipek grab）获取。本数据集由英国地质调查局（BGS）归档保存，本次调查的技术细节详见《英国地质调查局调查报告》（BGS Report of Survey）。
