Vibrio parahaemolyticus is responsible for the early mortality syndrome of the cultured shrimp causing the Acute Hepato Pancreatic Necrosis Disease (AHPND) which causes a significant lose in the shrimp culture industry. In this study, we isolated v. parahaemolyticus from AHPND positive shrimp and sequenced it in order to find out the presence of the virulence factors and its phylogenetic analysis and further analysis based on the genome sequence will also be performed.
