Artificial root exudates excited bacterial nitrogen fixation in the sub-surface of mine soils

Here, we examined the effect of the artificial root exudates on the community structure of asymbiotic diazotrophs in the sub-surface of mine soils by simulating the situation of oxygen in the root zone of mine soils, according to three artificial root exudates addition under two oxygen state (oxygen deficiency with 10% oxygen and anaerobic) in microcosm experiments and 16S rRNA and nifH mRNA transcripts analysis.
