Purpose: To investigate the effect of temperature on the compressive strength of consolidated samples composed of 10% clay and 160-mesh quartz sand.
Results: As shown in Figure 6, when the control agent was added at a specified concentration, the compressive strength of the consolidated sand body did not increase monotonically with temperature, but rather exhibited a trend of first increasing and then decreasing. The sand consolidation fluid demulsified at temperatures above 60°C, while the compressive strength exceeded 3 MPa under these conditions.
