Cytospora schulzeri strain:CXTA216 Genome sequencing and assembly

This project aims to generate a high-quality, near-chromosome-level genome assembly of Cytospora parasitica strain CXTA216, an emerging fungal pathogen causing apple canker in Xinjiang, China. The genome data will provide valuable insights into the genetic basis of pathogenicity, host adaptation, and facilitate the development of effective disease management strategies for apple production.
