Breast cancer related physical, psychological, social and spiritual domains of Quality of Life (QOL) among women in Bahrain

Bahrain cancer society had started awareness campaign regarding breast cancer since past 20 years in Bahrain and educated several women for breast self-examination and detection through mammogram. <strong>Statement of the problem</strong> A study to the assess the Quality of Life (QOL) among women with breast cancer. <strong>Objectives</strong> To identify the Quality of Life among Breast Cancer patients in Bahrain. <strong>Study Design</strong> Non-experimental, Cross –sectional descriptive survey design was adopted. The data was collected through self –report questionnaires that distributed to the participants. The researcher had introduced themselves to the study participants and explained the need for conducting this study. Quality of Life Instrument –Breast Cancer patient version tool is used in this study to collect the data. This tool was developed by National Medical Center&amp; Beckman Research Institute to assess the Quality of Life among breast cancer patients.
