Records of interviews and statistic data for spatial regression analysis. (1) The interview was conducted in Sichuan province between August 2020 and July 2021. Interviewees included phyciains, goverment officers in healthcare admission, hospital managers, nurses, experts in medical education, and physician labor market intermediates, etc. Questions about physian labor market and physician mobility were asked. (2) Healthcare statistics data describes the distribution of healthcare resources across prefecture-level cities. Socio-economic features and the amount of medical research funding for each prefecture-level city in 2000, 2010, and 2018 are also enclosed.
