Procurement dates Ministry of General Affairs 2022

Purchasing expenditure is the expenditure incurred by the national government on goods and services at suppliers. Once a year, the Minister of the Interior and Kingdom Relations receives information on the purchase expenditure of the previous year of all ministries and departments. The Ministry uses this information to provide Rijkswide procurement information to the category managers of the government, who purchase and procure the generic purchasing categories. Since 2012, this procurement information has also been used to inform the House of Representatives about the government’s procurement and the share of small and medium-sized enterprises in it. This is done in the Annual Report on Business Administration.
