Population forecast of Vantaa by sub-region by age and sex

Population of Vantaa at the level of Vantaa at the level of Vantaa, by major region and by city district by sex and age (0-99 years) on 31 December and population forecast for the coming years. The statistical date was 1 January until 2022. The population forecast applies to residents permanently resident in the municipality. The forecast is based on the demographic structure at the beginning of the forecast period by sub-region in terms of age and gender, as well as assumptions about the future development of fertility, mortality and migration in the sub-regions and the amount of housing construction during the forecast period.
