In order to figure out the genomic binding landscape of CARM1, we analyzed the genome-wide transcriptional targets for CARM1 using the Chromatin immunoprecipitation based-deep sequencing (ChIP-seq) in MDA-MB-231 cells with antibodies against CARM1. Using Illumina instrument, we found lots of CARM1-specific binding peaks and strong enrichment on the promoters of selected genes involved in classical pathways. This study gave us a new understanding of the role of CARM1 in chromatin status and gene transcription. Overall design: Examination of CARM1 target genes in MDA-MB-231 cell line
