Category EL4 easements concern easements related to mountain development and protection: for example, an easement may encumber private or private property of a public community to ensure the passage, development and equipping of ski slopes and northern sites intended to accommodate organised non-motorised snow recreation, over the terrain where ski lifts are to be located, the installation of line supports with a ground right of less than four square metres, the passage of climb tracks, access to mountaineering, mountain climbing and nature sports sites within the meaning of Article 50-1 of Law No 84-610 of 16 July 1984 and access to mountain shelters. An easement may also be instituted to ensure, within the boundaries of a northern site, the passage, development and equipping of non-motorised recreational trails outside snow seasons. This resource describes the surface plates of the EL4 easements combined with their generators, namely: — the passage, development and equipping of ski slopes and Nordic sites to accommodate organised non-motorised snow recreation, — the overflight of the terrain where ski lifts are to be located, — the placement of line supports with a ground right-of-way of less than four square metres, — the passage of the slopes, — the necessary access to the installation, maintenance and protection of ski slopes and lift facilities, — where the geographical situation so requires, access to mountaineering, mountain climbing and nature sports within the meaning of Article 50-1 of Law No 84-610 of 16 July 1984 and access to mountain refuges; — within the perimeter of a northern site, the passage, development and equipment of non-motorised recreational trails outside snow seasons.EL4类地役权（easement）指与山地开发及保护相关的地役权。例如，地役权可对公有社区的私有财产或私人所有财产设定负担，以保障规划用于开展有组织非机动雪地休闲活动的滑雪坡道与北欧式滑雪场地的通行、开发及配套设施建设；保障滑雪缆车拟建场地的地面通行；保障地面占地不足4平方米的线路支架安装；保障登山步道的通行；保障符合1984年7月16日第84-610号法律第50-1条定义的登山、攀岩及自然运动场地的通行权限；以及保障山地庇护所的通行权限。 此外，亦可设立地役权，以保障北欧式滑雪场地范围内雪季外非机动休闲步道的通行、开发及配套设施建设。 本数据集涵盖EL4类地役权及其权利来源的地表范围，具体包括： — 用于开展有组织非机动雪地休闲活动的滑雪坡道与北欧式滑雪场地的通行、开发及配套设施建设； — 滑雪缆车拟建场地的地面通行； — 地面占地不足4平方米的线路支架安装； — 坡道通行； — 滑雪坡道及缆车设施的安装、维护与保护所需的通行权限； — 若地理条件允许，符合1984年7月16日第84-610号法律第50-1条定义的登山、攀岩及自然运动场地的通行权限，以及山地庇护所的通行权限； — 北欧式滑雪场地范围内雪季外非机动休闲步道的通行、开发及配套设施建设。
