These datasets provide information on three drought indices (SPEI, SSI, and SRI), three hydroclimatic variables (precipitation (PPT), potential evapotranspiration (PET), and actual evapotranspiration (AET)), and standardized NDVI across the Tianshan Mountain region from 1982 to 2022. The datasets were used for the analyses presented in the paper <i>“Intensified Drought and Vegetation-Specific Responses in the Tianshan Mountain, Central Asia.”</i>
