Insulin-like growth factor receptor-1 and Breast Cancer

A transcriptomics analysis experiment of MCF-7 and T47D Cell lines, knocked down for IGFR1, using siRNA and the isogenic wild-type cell lines.
RNA was extracted using RNeasy mini kit (Qiagen, Germany) using manufacturer’ recommendation followed by quantification using Qubit 3 Fluorometer (Thermofisher Scientific, USA). The libraries were further enriched by emulsion PCR on the Ion OneTouch™ 2 System (OT2) and the Ion OneTouch™ ES System, following the manufacturer’s protocol. The prepared template libraries were sequenced on the Ion S5™ XL Semiconductor Sequencer using an Ion 540™ Chip.
