1991 Census — Families

The dataset contains data from the 13rd General Census of the population related to households. For the purposes of the census, family means a set of persons linked by marriage, kinship, affinity, adoption, protection or emotional ties, cohabiting and habitual residence in the same municipality (even if they are not yet registered in the registry of the population of the municipality itself). A family can be made up of only one person. He is considered to be the holder of the family sheet, preferably the person to whom the family card in the registry is headed. Family service personnel (domestics, family collaborators, etc.) who usually reside in their homes constitute a family in their own right, provided that there are no links of any kind between those included in the definition mentioned above between the members of the family.
