Images and GIS Data from an Archaeological Watching Brief at 97 London Road, Gloucester October 2019 and June 2020

This collection comprises images and GIS data from an archaeological watching brief at 97 London Road, Gloucester. This work was undertaken by Cotswold Archaeology in October 2019 and June 2020. The watching brief identified deposits relating to the uppermost horizon of the known Wotton Roman cemetery, correlating to the results of a preceding evaluation. The remains of a cellar and a well, correlating to structures shown on 19th century historical mapping, were also identified.本数据集涵盖英国格洛斯特郡伦敦路97号（97 London Road, Gloucester）考古监察踏勘（archaeological watching brief）所产出的影像资料与地理信息系统（GIS）数据。本次工作由科茨沃尔德考古有限公司（Cotswold Archaeology）于2019年10月及2020年6月完成。此次考古监察踏勘探明了与已知伍顿罗马公墓（Wotton Roman Cemetery）最上层地层相关的文化堆积，该发现与此前勘探评估的结果相互契合。同时还识别出一处地窖与一口水井的遗迹，其形制与19世纪历史地图中绘制的建筑结构相吻合。
