Multimodal Dataset for Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Model Generation

This dataset comprises multimodal representations of mechanical components as detailed below.

<li>Within each category of the mechanical components (e.g., gears), the "mesh" folder contains the CAD files in STL format, with the corresponding dimension information stored in JSON format under the "dimension_text" folder.</li>
<li>Beyond geometry (i.e., the CAD files), the dataset includes rendered images and sketches of the CAD models, located in the "img" and "sketch" folders, respectively.</li>
<li>Additionally, we crowdsource textual descriptions through Amazon Mechanical Turk (AMT) to gather human language descriptions of the CAD models. These descriptions are manually checked for accuracy and quality. The final descriptions are then organized by category and provided in CSV files.</li>
