Scope of public services of non-collective sanitation (SPANC) in Puy-de-Dôme

SPANC is a local public service which is the responsibility of the municipalities under the III of Article L2224-8 of the General Code of Local and Regional Authorities. But competence can be transferred to a group of municipalities (union, community of communes...) existing or created specifically for this mission. The competent authority for the freedom of choice for the organisation of the SPANC:
— Either by direct management by municipal or inter-municipal authorities (intercommunal or mixed union, of a community of municipalities, agglomeration, etc.) — possibility of awarding a contract for the provision of services, with a chosen undertaking, in accordance with the Public Procurement Code, for all or part of the service
— Either by contract delegated management.
