Fisheries and aquaculture; prices fresh fish, crustaceans and shellfish

This table contains data on the prices of the main species of fish, crustaceans and shellfish. The fresh fish can be landed by both Dutch and foreign fishermen. It concerns only fresh fish, not the fish that is already frozen on fishing vessels after the catch. Frozen fish is not traded via the auctions, but goes directly to the trader, the catering industry or the fish processing industry. Prices shall be expressed in euros per 1000 kilograms. Data available from: 1994. Status of the figures: The monthly data published in the table will be marked ‘provisional’ at the time of first publication. In the autumn following the year under review, CBS publishes the final monthly figures and the final annual figure. The figures until 2021 are final. Amendments as of 25 October 2023: The preliminary monthly figures for August 2023 have been added. When will there be new figures? The figures are provided irregularly.
