Concentrations of atmospheric NOx: 2013 Ross Sea

Atmospheric NOx in the marine boundary layer was monitored from January 26 to February 28 by the CraNOxⅡ NOx analyzer along the cruise track of R/V Araon from Christchurch to Mcmurdo Station(Ross Sea) carrying out a series expeditions in the Ross Sea. Atmospheric NOx is an important molecule in the atmospheric chemical aspects, because it is involved in the tropospheric ozone chemistry. Also continuous measurements of it enable us to estimate the impacts of NOx emitted mainly by human activities on the relative unpolluted air.
