Adult auditory brain responses to nestling begging calls in seasonal songbirds: an fMRI study in non-parenting male and female starlings (Sturnus vulgaris)

fMRI experiment in 11 male and 9 female European starlings (Sturnus vulgaris) once in the breeding and once in the non-breeding season. Stimulus used were begging calls, conspecific warble motifs and artificial pure tones. fMRI timeseries was acquired using a randomized block design on a 7T MRI scanner. fMRI data are provided in the nifti format.

本实验针对11只雄性、9只雌性欧洲欧椋鸟（Sturnus vulgaris），分别在繁殖季与非繁殖季各开展一次功能磁共振成像（fMRI）实验。实验所用刺激材料包括乞食鸣叫声、同种鸣啭单元以及人工纯音。实验采用随机区组设计，在7特斯拉磁共振扫描仪上采集fMRI时间序列数据。所有fMRI数据均以NIfTI格式提供。
