Fishing Activity Maps at 4-5 Knots for Dolphinfish (Lampuki)

These datasets were manipulated and produced in aggregated maps by showing the intensity of VMS (and not the effort) by a methodology used in the Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture. Since most of the vessels are under 12 m and have no VMS, these maps represents only a fraction of the vessels - 24% of the vessels targeting dolphinfish (lampuki). For this datasets of vessel trips targeting dolphinfish, at a speed of 4-5knots (indicative of hauling) was taken into consideration. This data was funded by of one of the co-financed EU LIFE+ Funding Programmes - LIFE BaĦAR for N2K project.本数据集经处理后以聚合地图形式呈现，采用渔业与水产养殖司的既定方法，展示了船舶监控系统（Vessel Monitoring System, VMS）的信号强度而非实际捕捞努力量。由于多数作业船只长度不足12米且未配备VMS，因此此类地图仅覆盖了部分作业船只——仅占鲯鳅（lampuki）捕捞作业船只总数的24%。针对此类鲯鳅捕捞作业的船只航次数据集，研究人员将航速4至5节（对应捕捞起吊作业状态）的航次纳入了统计范围。本数据集由欧盟LIFE+联合资助计划之一的「LIFE BaĦAR for N2K项目」提供资金支持。
