Dataset for Comet.Photos: OSIRIS-REx - Asteroid Bennu

Comet.Photos is an application for rapid spatial searches of images from solar system missions (See https://github.com/comet-dot-photos/comet-dot-photos). This dataset provides images from the OSIRIS-REx mission to Asteroid Bennu. The OSIRIS-REx dataset can be downloaded and installed separately from the Comet.Photos software. To do so, extract the files from this tar archive, creating an orex folder. Place the orex folder in the Comet.Photos data folder, and the next time that Comet.Photos is restarted it will load this data.

This dataset includes images taken by OSIRIS-REx's PolyCam, MapCam, and SamCam cameras, as well as a 3D shape model of the asteroid, image metadata and a visibility table which are all used by the Comet.Photos software.
