Translation (Rita Seng Mai) The story's title is 'an orphan boy and a group of boys.' Once upon a time, there was an old grandmother and her grandson, who was an orphan. There was a house where a group of boys lived in the same village. The grandmother and her grandson were penniless. The villagers excluded them from the social circle because they were so poor. Therefore, they lived in a small house on the outskirts. One day, a group of boys told a poor orphan, "We have volunteer work tomorrow. Everyone has to come and help." However, the orphan boy couldn't go there. If he went there, he couldn't work for his family. So he told them, "I think I won't be able to go there and help. However, I will give pork thigh meat for all volunteers to eat from our share." Every villager worked as volunteers on that day. Everyone helped and worked as volunteers. Only the orphan boy was not there. He gave pork thigh meat to everyone to eat. But the boys didn't cook the meat for volunteers. They were playing with it by tossing it. They asked everyone to work without treating them to a meal. They didn't cook the meat for the villagers, although it was getting dark. The brothers were arrogant because they were all boys and strong. They often bullied weak people. They always bullied the orphan boy. They intentionally didn't cook the pork for the villagers. In the evening, the villagers asked them, "What are you going to do with this pig thigh meat?" The boys took it and gave it back to the orphan boy.
