Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Vegetation Surveys within Northwest Territories

These data sets are being collected to undertake Research & Development under the Polar Knowledge Canada (POLAR) project 1516-121, entitled 'Shrub Monitoring in Canada's Arctic using Multi-scale Measurements from Field Plots, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Surveys, and Satellite Remote Sensing'. The purpose is to map low-Arctic vegetation distribution and changes at an intermediate scale.本数据集的采集工作系为支撑加拿大极地知识局（Polar Knowledge Canada，简称POLAR）编号为1516-121的研发项目而开展，该项目的正式名称为《基于野外样地（Field Plots）、无人机（Unmanned Aerial Vehicle）调查与卫星遥感（Satellite Remote Sensing）多尺度测量的加拿大北极地区灌丛监测》。本研究的目的是在中尺度上绘制低北极带植被的分布状况与动态变化。
