Groundwater Watershed Canton of Schaffhausen

The groundwater map was last revised and updated in 2016. The two watersheds occupied in the canton of Schaffhausen were last processed in 2015. Watersheds are thresholds (lines) in the subsoil and form the natural boundary between two adjacent groundwater catchment areas. Following gravity, the groundwater flows on one side of the watershed line in one direction and on the other in the opposite direction.
