Dauer and reproductive development RNA-seq

We investigated phenotypic plasticity in a whole organism by comparing gene expression during C. elegans dauer and reproductive development using RNA seq. We have sequenced synchronized populations of daf-9(dh6) at four time points along dauer development: L2d (at 24 hph and 26 hph), dauer-committed L2d (at 34 hph), and fully developed dauer (at 60 hph). In parallel, we added synthetic DA to a sub-culture to force it into reproductive development, and sequenced daf-9(dh6) at two time points along reproductive development: L3-committing larvae (at 26 hph) and L4 (at 34 hph).
